Dear WCA Mentors,
I keep hearing about the mentors group. I don’t want to change jobs, so what’s in it for me? –Mildly Curious
Dear Mildly,
Having a mentor is not just about getting a new job, although that is a common reason why members seek mentors.
A mentee can learn from others’ experiences and explore a relationship with someone who will be available to help guide you as you grow in your career.
Need a sounding board for a new idea? Maybe you just have one sticky situation that you’d like to hash out? Facing a leadership challenge?
WCA mentors have all levels of experience across the communications spectrum. Some are available for chats over coffee. Some can Skype or e-mail with you. Chances are there’s a match here for you.
We’re Here to Help
