You are invited to participate in an important compensation survey. This survey is designed to gather input from Austin-area communications professionals about how individuals are compensated for their work. The results will be shared with WCA members and form the basis of a WCA program in early 2024.
Your answers will be kept strictly confidential and will only be viewed in the aggregate by WCA’s Board of Directors.
Why Participate in a Compensation Survey?
Compensation surveys can give individuals important intel about trends in their specific communications niche or industry. Whether you’re working as a solopreneur, small business owner, or a public relations strategist, nonprofit/association marketing professional, and more, knowing what other communicators are being paid for the creative work they do can inform a conversation you have with a supervisor or with your clients.
The Austin Chamber of Commerce has reported on salary trends for the greater Central Texas and Austin metro area, too.

We deeply appreciate your time, and anticipate this survey will take you less than 10 minutes to complete. Feel free to share it with communications colleagues in Central Texas who might not be WCA members.
As an added incentive for filling out the survey, we are offering a gift card drawing. Your name and responses will not be shared within the data reporting.
