If you’re a student, you’re hardly ready to go back to school this month, let alone think about applying for scholarships. But if you’re reading this, you’re one step ahead of your competition. Keep reading to find out how you could earn a $3,000 scholarship that can go toward college tuition, books or other academic needs!
Communications students attending any Central Texas college or university are encouraged to apply for the Jo Caldwell Meyer Scholarship before Feb. 17, 2014. Additional eligibility requirements include:
- Full-time student status, currently enrolled in Spring 2014 with a minimum of 12 hours
- Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00
- Completed at least 30 hours
- Demonstrated career commitment in mass communications or media
- Both male and female students are eligible for this scholarship
