In the July program, Joy Miller will walk through the elements of a business plan, connect you to free resources and explain the many varying reasons your business needs one now.
Joy Miller is the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for the City of Austin’s Small Business Development Program. In this role she has broad exposure to all aspects of marketing and outreach, creating ad campaigns, slogans, public service announcements, training classes, and public speaking to ensure that Austin small business owners are aware of the vast resources available to them. She is also a member of the Association of Women in Communications and treasures the connections she makes with entrepreneurial-minded individuals. Prior to moving to Austin in 2009, she opened a small gift boutique, where she learned first-hand the challenges of the entrepreneurial world.
