Ricky Allen counsels small businesses who want to take advantage of the City of Austin’s WBE/DBE and MBE certification program. Ricky met with Freelance Austin in September to share the wealth of knowledge he has on doing business with the City of Austin.
The program provides a wide range of free services to help small business owners promote their capabilities to potential partners and clients. Certified businesses are marketed through the City’s online directory and alerted about new business opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
Ricky has over 25 years’ experience in the public sector. He is an accomplished public speaker and active in his community as a pastor of the City of Refuge C.O.G.I.C.
