Michel Hudson, CFRE, CEFL, is a deeply experienced mentor for nonprofit communications and marketing professionals who want strategic perspective – not just tactics. With more than 30 years working as staff, consultant, interim executive director, board member, and volunteer, she understands how messaging, fundraising, governance, and leadership pressures intersect, and helps mentees see the bigger picture behind their day-to-day work.

As the founder of 501(c)onsulting, Michel has guided organizations through strategic planning, board and staff retreats, marketing initiatives, and moments of transition – experience that makes her especially valuable to communicators navigating growth, change, or career inflection points.

A recognized leader and award-winning volunteer, widely published author, and frequent conference speaker on strategy and marketing, she brings credibility and generosity (along with a large dose of humor) to mentorships, helping emerging and mid-career professionals build confidence, clarity, and influence within their organizations.
