Sharon Jayson is a versatile journalist who can tell stories across platforms, with experience online, in print and broadcast. Her work has appeared in publications, including The Washington Post, Time, U.S. News & World Report, KFF Health News, NBC News, AARP and UT’s McCombs magazine, among others. In spring 2022, she was a visiting professor (via Zoom) at Tsinghua University in Beijing, teaching business journalism and writing to 29 international graduate students. For a decade at USA Today, Sharon covered a wide range of beats, including behavior and relationships, mental health and parenting, as well as aging, caregiving and retirement. As a representative of USA Today, Jayson discussed her reporting live with appearances on NBC’s Today Show, CNN and MSNBC.
