Yes, running your own freelance/entrepreneurial communications business can be incredibly exciting, challenging, invigorating… and terrifying. Our attendees got some guidance from those who’ve been there, done that and lived to survive and thrive.
A panel of Freelance Austin’s most experienced professional writers, web designers, social media experts and graphic designers kicked off our next meeting with tips for how to make your business work better. Our panel participants included Susan Lahey, Julie Tereshchuk, Sheila Scarborough, Mary Anne Connolly and Christine Cox. They offered a frank and entertaining discussion of their years of experience as freelance professionals and took questions from meeting attendees.
At the end of the session there was an open discussion with the audience about future Freelance Austin programming and organizational ideas.
