The AWC Austin Board of Directors is accepting applications from members in good standing to join the board. 

At the beginning of each year, the board encourages AWC Austin members who are interested in making a difference within the chapter and the Austin-area community to apply to serve on the AWC Austin Board of Directors. Serving on the board is a great way to strengthen your communication and leadership skills, and make lasting and valuable relationships. AWC Austin needs your leadership, involvement and support to remain such a productive and creative group. Board terms begin on June 1, 2011 and end on May 31, 2012.

If interested, email AWC Austin President-Elect Julie Tereshchuk (presidentelect[at]awcaustin.org) the 2 -3 positions you are interested in, a statement about why you are interested and/or qualified in each position, and a copy of your resume. All applications will be reviewed by a nominating committee elected by the membership.  

The deadline to submit your application is Friday, February 11, 2011.
