Jenny Magic is a content and branding strategist who recently joined Raise Your Hand Texas, a non-profit education advocacy organization working to strengthen public education in Texas. Prior to this role, she founded Better Way to Say It, a content strategy firm acquired in 2013 by web design agency SiteGoals, where she led the content team until 2015.

Teaching and sharing ideas is at the heart of Jenny’s career. She has delivered training workshops to clients like Prudential and Acxiom, contributes to the Content Marketing Institute, presented at the 2012 and 2014 Content Marketing World conferences and is returning for 2015 as both speaker and Content Marketing Awards judge. She is also leading a session and hosting a track at the Intelligent Content Conference 2015. She is an active mentor in her community, winning the 2014 Gene Barnwell Waugh Mentor Award from the Women Communicators of Austin, running communications for TEDxAustin, and leading official Mentor Sessions at SXSW Interactive 2014. She also hosts the 900+ member #AustinContent Meetup and founded Rally For Good, a series of hackathon-style events that bring communications support to local nonprofits.

An avid reader, cheese connoisseur, fierce game night competitor, and former top man of the family waterski pyramids, Jenny geeks out over Wired magazine and loves using her young son as an excuse to do fun kid stuff.
