Another successful Get Smart for the books! Thank you to everyone, including attendees and speakers, that made this much-anticipated half day conference such a success!
The WCA Board of Directors would like to give a special shoutout to Janis Powers, founder of Celebrate Your Brain, an award-winning merchandising company based out of Austin, Texas. Celebrate Your Brain got started when founder, Janis Powers, was promoting her novel, Mama’s Got a Brand New Job. Her novel about a smart, fun woman, Powers created the SMART GIRLS ARE FUN shirts to sell with the book. She sold more shirts than books and realized she was on to something.
Celebrate Your Brain is the exclusive provider of SMART GIRLS ARE FUN and the provocative SMART BOYS ARE HOT trademarked merchandise. The company’s mission is to strip away any elitist notions associated with being smart, and inject some edgy fun into the conversation about what it means to be intelligent.
Janis contributed some of her awesome merchandise to the Get Smart swag bags as well as to the Get Smart raffle. Congrats to Danielle Urban for winning the premier prize.
